Front Desk Assistant
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:45 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Legacy Academy is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for students, families, and visitors. This position is responsible for answering phones, greeting guests, coordinating substitute teachers, supporting student admissions by scheduling and providing campus tours, and assisting prospective families throughout the enrollment process. Additional responsibilities include tracking student arrivals and early check-outs, maintaining accurate attendance records, monitoring visitor access, and supporting school safety and security procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, excellent customer service, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to supporting Legacy Academy's mission of faith, character, and scholarship.
Part-Time Bridge Program Teacher (Elementary K–6)
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:25 a.m.–2:20 p.m.
Legacy Academy is seeking a Part-Time Bridge Program Teacher to provide instruction for students in grades K–6 in our hybrid learning program. The teacher will deliver engaging in-person instruction, prepare and communicate home-learning activities, and provide instruction in language arts, math, science, and history while supporting Legacy Academy's mission of developing students in faith, character, and scholarship. Responsibilities include assessing student progress, differentiating instruction to meet learning needs, maintaining regular communication with families, collaborating with school leadership, and participating in professional development. Qualified candidates should have a bachelor's degree in education or a related field, elementary teaching experience, strong communication, and classroom management skills. Experience with hybrid or homeschool partnership programs is a plus. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to Latter-day Saint Christian education, work collaboratively with students, families, and staff, and be able to meet the physical demands of an elementary classroom.
Part-Time High School Science Teacher
Schedule: Monday & Wednesday, 7:45-8:50 a.m.
Legacy Academy is seeking a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and Christ-centered Science Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. This position teaches one or more high school core science courses. The position will be two to four days a week from 8:25 a.m. to 2:20 p.m., depending on the scheduling of science in the daily schedule. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students discover the wonder of God's creation through scientific exploration while fostering academic excellence, character development, and a love of learning in a supportive classroom environment. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in science, science education, education, or a related field. A teaching certification is preferred or a willingness to become state certified in the course of the position.
K-6 Teacher’s Aide
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:30 a.m.–12:50 p.m.
Legacy Academy is seeking a Part-time Teacher’s Aide to assist teachers with classroom management, grading, teaching, and general teacher and student support. This position will assist during Language Arts and/or Math instruction. A Bachelor's degree and experience teaching in school settings are preferred, but not required. The successful candidate will be professional in appearance and demeanor and will have a commitment to supporting the mission, values, and culture of Legacy Academy. This position is 10 hours per week, 9:45–12:15 AM, M–Th when school is in session.
Janitor / Custodian
Schedule: 30 hrs/week (Flexible schedule)
We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Janitors to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our school facility. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing floors; cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking restrooms; emptying trash and recycling; dusting and cleaning furniture, counters, windows, and mirrors; and maintaining janitorial supplies and storage areas. Team members will safely use cleaning chemicals, secure the building at the end of each shift, monitor supply inventory, and assist maintenance staff and management as needed. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience is helpful but not required. Candidates must be able to pass a background check, stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work independently with a strong work ethic.
